I want to know about you. And if you’re a real person. Or just a square on my screen that sometimes has text next to it.
I’m talking to you. You there, sitting there, reading this line.
What do you do? Why are you here? What is your mission?
I am so curious about you. And wondering if you actually read this.
If you don’t mind, would you comment and tell me who you are?
Ok, ok, it sounds like maybe my head is too big. But really, this blog is all about me. What I find funny. What is going on in my life. What I wish to record. So yes, my dream reader will worship me. Well, not the creepy stalkish kind. But, like a friend you really really like to be with.
And, because I’m all about me and my blog is all about me, the Zero To Hero Day Six asks a good question. Who is my dream reader? And the only answer I can come up with, is it’s gotta be someone who really wants to hear what’s going on in my life. Someone who wants to get to know me. And I couldn’t think of anyone who would enjoy the blog, unless s/he worships me. (Loving the ego boost).
But seriously, I hope my blog can be like a friend to you. Maybe my friends will check it out once in a while to learn about what’s really going on in my head.
Now I should tell you a story about this photo. It’s really the epitome of who I am. My friend is visiting me in Milwaukee in this photo. We’re lying in bed, getting settled, talking about boys, giggling. And we noticed that our feet were also hanging out. So we feet clapped. What make my life super rich are these inspired unplanned moments. I’m on the right.
I’m not talking about real neighbors. I’m talking about Cyber Neighbor. Day Four Zero to Hero’s challenge is to make new friends. I didn’t make just 5 like suggested, I clicked on the whole second page and read through each. I followed those whose blogs I found interesting. So if you found me from finding you HELLO!
And if you found me from some other random thing, I still like you just as much 😉
Here is a flower for you.
.write a post that was on your mind when you started blogging. I can’t remember what was on my mind. I only remember feeling the need to get my ideas down. I used to write, but the busy life has pretty much sucked that all up. Since coming to terms with the new phase in my life, I’ve become inspired. Plus, I watch too much Korean Drama and I feel I need to be productive. So I started a blog about my thoughts on the endless hours of videos I watch. Then I wanted to say more than reviews, so I started this blog. But I found that I am most free on my personal private blog. I write better when I write for myself. Where no one is looking. Where I can truly be honest, blunt, vulnerable.
I don’t remember what it was that I wanted to blog about, but I hope that blogging will move me on to the next great thing in my life.
Who am I and why am I here? That is a question I hope to answer with this blog. This year, I intend to witness history where I stand and capture present moments for the future.
I am quitting my job. Moving back to my hometown. No job lined up. For the first time in my life, I am moving ahead without a foolproof plan. I love the job, but I really want to be back home, with family and friends.
I work in museums and I have an affinity for keeping things, memories, and stories. Blogging, tweeting, Facebook, these are all things shared with the world. These are the one-line journals of our time. And being part of it is taking part in history.
I blog about my obsessions, maybe random bits and amateur photography, my fiber arts projects, and food. I love food. I have another blog dedicated to my other obsession, Korean drama and pop stars. http://lifeofbubblegumhues.wordpress.com/
Yay! First post for the Zerotohero Blogging U with wordpress.
